Eh, looks more like the typical Occupy protester to me…..

I didn’t include the scent of patchouli.

How does the social media uniform for women look like?

    • Jay November 22, 2011 at 11:08 am #

I don’t know yet… Allison and I have conversed some but never had a solid idea.

Haha…I am glad I wear contacts and haven’t bought an iPad.

I switched to metal frames and have a Kindle fire. Clearly, I’m breaking my own stereotypes.

I guess I’m not a real social media specialist, then. Damn.

If you can spend $20 at TJ Maxx, you certainly can be.

I so want a Like button right here.

So I wonder what this makes me wearing cheap but decent looking clothing with an android but still works on mac computers

and glasses free from VA care

It makes you awesome and stand out from the crowd, you hipster you.

i think it needs commentary on the haircut, belt and shoes. Shoes make the man, some old person used to say….

    • Jay November 22, 2011 at 12:01 pm #

The haircuts vary too much to make meaningful snark.

What about corporate slaves whose corporate slave wear does not fit the official social media uniform? Are we uncool? :(

    • Jay November 22, 2011 at 1:33 pm #

You just get lumped in with the corporate slave uniform.

Haha this is hilarious. I actually don’t completely fit into this category. No glasses, no iphone, and I usually wear slacks.

I feel so strange. I was reading this smirking to myself and realized I was wearing my plastic rimmed glasses (which I haven’t worn in months) and holding my iPhone in my left hand while scrolling through these comments with my right. BTW, I am wearing a white button down shirt and do not feel soothed.

    • Jay November 22, 2011 at 4:39 pm #

See, you need to get some blue on right now.

Ok for the guy’s hair….there must be some form of razor cut going on…either spiked or buzzed close. Secondly, there must be at least one product present in the hair …bumble and bumble, Sebastian, or Redken usually.

As for the shoes, gotta go with the pointy square-toed leather slip ons. Personally I think these look rather elfin, but I’m not a guy.

Let me know if you want input on the women’s uniform.

    • Jay November 22, 2011 at 4:56 pm #

I like those shoes as well, even though they kill my wide feet.

Cool get up! I’m thinking what would be a woman’s get up for social media uniform?! :)

Only thing missing is an over sized book bag, Great post

    Hmm…

Work boots, old yet serviceable jeans, pocket T over thermals, duster, knit cap (unfortunately not in Jayne style), WWII rucksack featuring an Android tablet tucked inside so I only look like a pretentious tablet wielding prick when I’m actually using the thing.

Still running a laptop that was present in Desert Storm, but works just fine because I nerded out and built a Linux based OS from scratch to replace the Windows 98 that came with it.

Of course if it’s hot out you’d catch me in a Utilikilt, T-Shirt, and Vibrams.
